Rajeev Khanna, M.D. is the Medical Director of AOMS. Dr. Khanna is a Sports Medicine specialist who has over sixteen years of experience in occupational health. He completed his family practice residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Khanna then did a fellowship in Sports Medicine through St. Joseph's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He was board certified in Family Practice in 1992 and received his certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine in 1995.
Dr. Khanna serves as the team physician for the Chicago Rush Professional Arena Football Team, Chicago State University, Elmhurst College, and The Illinois Institute of Technology. He was featured as one of the top two doctors in Sports Medicine in Chicago Magazine in January 2001. He has given over 120 presentations on various sports and work related illnesses and injuries.

Steve Hartsock, M.D. is the Facility Medical Director of the downtown Chicago clinic. Dr. Hartsock attended the University of California, San Diego where he received a B.S. in BioMedical Engineering. He went to Indiana University for medical school and then completed a residency in Family Medicine at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois. After residency, he relocated to Greensboro, NC where he completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at Moses Cone Hospital in 2005. Dr. Hartsock is a board certified family physician who also specializes in Sports Medicine. He is the team physician for the Illinois Institute of Technology and the National US Swim Team. His also serves as one of the physicians for the US Olympic National Swim Committee. Additionally, Dr. Hartsock is involved with several high school and college athletic teams around Chicago. Dr. Hartsock is a member of the USA Swimming sports medicine and science network.

Sandra Bender, M.D. is the Facility Medical Director of the O'hare clinic. She is a Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Sports Medicine. Dr. Bender did her undergraduate work at the University of Chicago where she received a B.A. in Biology. After completing her undergraduate education, she remained at U of C as a researcher for five years prior to attending medical school. Dr. Bender attended Ross University School of Medicine, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, OK. After residency, she returned to her native Chicago to complete her Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL in 2004. Prior to joining AOMS, Dr. Bender was one of the team physicians at Northwestern University. During her tenure at Northwestern, she provided primary care, musculoskeletal care, as well as, sideline coverage for numerous sports teams. Dr. Bender currently serves as the team physician for East and West Leyden High Schools.
Dr. Bender has a special interest in eating disorders, general health maintenance, and sports medicine, especially as it relates to women and those individuals who are no longer atheletes but are still athletic, no matter what age.

Fernando J. Manalac, M.D. is a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine physician. Originally from Steubenville, Ohio, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management in 1997 at Robert Morris University while playing football for the Colonials. He went on to complete his Doctorate in Medicine at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies in 2005. Dr. Manalac then went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He procured and finished his fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the same institution. During fellowship, Dr. Manalac was on medical staff with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He has also been the team physician for multiple high schools and colleges in the Pittsburgh area. Dr. Manalac currently serves as the team physician for Morton College.
Dr. Manalac has a special interest in providing diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions including ultrasound-guided platelet rich plasma and/or mesenchymal stem cell injections for the treatment of ligamentous, tendinous, cartilaginous, and bony injuries and/or non-healing conditions.

Lynsey K. Stewart, M.D. is a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine physician who completed her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Louisville in 2000, while dancing on the nationally recognized University of Louisville Ladybirds Dance Team. Dr. Stewart attended the American University of the Caribbean and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida in 2010. She completed her Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Louisville in 2011. Dr. Stewart was board certified in Family Medicine in 2010 and received her Certificate of Added Qualificiation in Sports Medicine in 2011.
Dr. Stewart has a special interest in regenerative injection therapy using Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and prolotherapy to treat chronic refractory orthopedic conditions. She also has a strong interest in managment of athletic concussions and women's sports medicine. She is the assistant team physician for Elmhurst College.

Gerald Cerniak, M.D. is a general surgeon with over ten years experience in Occupational Medicine. Dr. Cerniak completed his internship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago after graduating from Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. He completed his residency in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Cerniak has experience in general and vascular surgery, liposuction, vein injection sclerotherapy, laser treatment of venous, tattoo and other pigmented skin abnormalities.

Edward Bleier, M.D. has over 30 years experience in Occupational Health. Dr. Bleier completed his undergraduate work at Washington University in St. Louis and his medical school training at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. Following a flexible residency program at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, he began his work in Occupational Medicine in 1978 in private practice through District Medical Center. Then in 1988, while on staff at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, he developed the MercyWorks Occupational Health Network, serving as a medical director for 22 years. Dr. Bleier has additionally served as a consultant to a number of Chicagoland employers and insurance carriers, such as, The City of Chicago, The Chicago Transit Authority, Sedgwick CMS Insurance and Corvel Corporation. He is a certified Medical Review Officer and a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. |

Alan Sisson, M.D. is a graduate of the Drake University College of Pharmacy in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Registered Pharmacist, he practiced clinical pharmacy while attending the Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. He underwent residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Miami (FL) Affliated Hospitals and in General Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Educational Foundation. He has been Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has practiced medicine for over 30 years, including in the Emergency Departments of Level 1 Trauma Centers at university medical centers. He has taught Pharmacology and been a professor of Biology teaching Clinical Anatomy to pre-healthcare profession students.
Dr. Sisson has been a guest speaker at numerous local, state and national conferences plus director of several others including the National Conference on BioChemNuclear Terrorism just subsequent to September 11th. He has served as a medical consultant for various industries regarding medical and pharmaceutical issues. His particular area of interest is traumatic injuries including their acute treatment and rehabilitation. He is a firm believer in minimizing drug therapies as well as educating patients on how to help cope with their diseases in order to heal more efficiently.

Priti Khanna, M.D. is a physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. After completing her PM&R residency at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, she completed an electrodiagnostic medicine fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin/ Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. She was an attending physician with Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital for two years and subsequently was an Assistant Professor at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX for five years. She served as Medical Director at St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas for 2 1/2 years and as Medical Director for Parkland Memorial Hospital's EMG clinic for five years.
Dr. P. Khanna's interests include musculoskeletal medicine, electrodiagnosis and neuromuscular conditions. She has been active in presenting and publishing in various capacities. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Richard Dahl, PA-C is an Illinois licensed, nationally certified Physician Assistant. He attended the University of Illinois in Chicago where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Richard earned his Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL in 2009. Jacey Howard, PA-C is an Illinois licensed and nationally certified Physician Assistant. She attended Oklahoma Baptist University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Jacey then earned her Master of Health Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Oklahoma Health Services Center. She has previously served as a provider in Family Medicine and urgent care.
